Uniform
The Governors, Senior Leadership Team, and staff of Crestwood Community School firmly believe that a smart school uniform is essential to our school ethos. All students are required to wear the correct uniform at all times.
Please Note: The school reserves the right to decide what is and is not acceptable regarding uniform and appearance. For any clarifications, please contact your child’s Head of Year in the first instance.
Our uniform supplier is Skoolkit. Uniform is available online via the Skoolkit website or at the local branch in Eastleigh.
To support our families, we are providing all Year 7 parents with a £62.50 Skoolkit voucher. This covers the essential logoed items for your child:
- Two red logoed polo tops
- One logoed sweatshirt
- One logoed PE top
Note: Vouchers are strictly non-transferable and can only be exchanged for the specific items listed above. All other non-logoed items can be purchased affordably at local supermarkets.
While Hampshire County Council has withdrawn official uniform grants, Crestwood Community School offers assistance to families experiencing financial hardship. Eligibility criteria apply, with special allowances made for multiple siblings starting at the same time (e.g., twins). Please contact karen.davies@crestwood.hants.sch.uk for more information.

Equipment
To help you get off to a flying start this September, here is a quick guide to the essential kit and equipment you will need in your school bag every day.
Being prepared is one of the best ways to feel confident and ready for your new adventure. In secondary school, you will move between different classrooms for different subjects, so keeping your bag packed with the right tools means you are always ready to learn.
Essential Items
- Pencil case & Pencils
- Pens (Blue, Black, Green)
- Ruler, Eraser & Sharpener
- Protractor & Compass
- Glue stick & Highlighter
- Colouring pencils for Art
Specialist Equipment
- Scientific Calculator: We recommend the Casio FX series (any model is fine for Year 7).
- English: A reading book (can be borrowed from the school library).
School Bags
As students will no longer have a blazer to store these items, we strongly recommend a decent school bag is brought every day.
Summer Challenges
We know that the transition to secondary school can feel like a big leap, and it’s completely natural to have a few butterflies over the holidays. That’s why we’ve created these gentle summer challenges. Give them a go this summer and arrive in September ready to conquer your first week!
